Supportive Guidance: One-on-one and/or group sessions/services that address individualize clients’ needs with primary focus on finding a positive role model, attitude and behavior, and healing from trauma.
College and Career Readiness: Events and field trips are coordinated and conducted to promote career awareness, college and application processes, financial aid and connections to campus guidance.
Transitional housing:
The immediate goal of WILDFLOWER HOME FOR GIRLS is to provide a cooling off period for the girls and their parents while avoiding the dangers of life on the streets.
The long-term goal is to encourage each girl and her family to reestablish positive communication, and wherever possible, to work toward reunification.
When reunification cannot be achieved, the staff will work to create another desirable option including but not limited to:
residence with another family member
long term placement
helping finding their own job and place to live.
